Weekly Photo Challenge: Color

Taps taps: Gaily coloured buses used in Haiti as a form of public transportation. The literal translation is “quick quick”. They may also be called camionettes. Makes for an exciting, though not necessarily totally safe ride!

  1. What amazing buses and beautiful colors! It’s interesting that they’re similar to a giant, gussied-up pickup truck, since they’re on the backs of large trucks. Thanks for showing me something I haven’t seen before. With all the poverty in Haiti, it might be nice to have such bright buses for a bit of colorful joy in daily life.
